Renée Barasch
Simply Human Art is a private tattoo studio in historic Astoria, Oregon. Owner and artist Renée Barasch began tattooing in 2016. She moved to the Oregon coast in 2018 and opened Simply Human Art shortly after in the summer of 2019.
She started tattooing because she loved getting tattooed. Art was always a major player in her life. She was born and raised in Portland, Oregon to two visual artists who emphasized that no matter what she did, her creative process comes first. Today, their words continue to inspire her.
